At The Healing Word Ministry, our focus is on ministering the Word of God for healing of spirit, soul, and body. We have been sharing God's love and grace since 1978 and have spoken in many churches and lay meetings across the United States. We minister and teach on the Biblical principles of the Spirit Filled Life and how, as Christians, we must live in accordance to the teaching of God's Word. We have an active Prayer Line that has seen miraculous answers to the faithful prayers sent to the Throne of God. Dr. Marvin, who you see here, is an ordained minister as well as a medical doctor. THE DOCTOR'S BAG Daily Prescription
Use daily: For God's Protection As we face each day, we are aware that it is impossible for us to be able to protect our families, our home, and even our livelihood. It has become more and more apparent that it is only through God and His Son and Spirit that we are able to cope with our lives. Before we get out of bed in the mornings, we need to give praise and thanksgiving to our heavenly Father for his love and compassion as we walk with Him. Pray continually for God's grace and courage to face all that must be faced. Apply the following scriptures liberally and as often as needed to overcome our battles. Ps 16:8 "I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me."
"Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour. Take a firm stand against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are." "..if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land."

HOW DO I KNOW I AM SAVED? Is it really possible for a person to know God and have peace? The answer is YES if you believe in God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and being born again by His spirit. God loves you and wants to make your life full and complete. He not only offers you abundant life here and now, but He wants to give you life eternal. Do you want to KNOW that you will spend eternity in Heaven with Christ? If you do, then follow these steps. 1. ADMIT to God that you are a sinner and ask Him for forgiveness. Romans 3:23 2. REPENT by turning away from sin and submitting to God. Luke 13:5 3. BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross and shed His blood to pay the price for your sins, that He was buried and rose again. Romans 10:9 4. ASK God to save you. Romans 10:13 After you have done the above, pray this simple prayer out loud: Dear God, I now realize I have a choice to make. I choose to believe that Jesus died for me, shed His blood to wash away my sins, and rose from the dead, making a way for me to have fellowship with you. I choose to turn my back on the life I have lived without You, and to follow Jesus from this moment on. I ask Jesus to be Lord of my life and to live in my heart. I thank You for loving me, forgiving me and accepting me as Your child and a new creation, born of God. Amen.
